DEATH OF COMRADE CHAUDHARY FATEH MOHAMMAD

Dear Comrade Hussain,

South Asian Peoples Forum UK express our deep condolences at the death of Comrade Chaudhary Fateh Mohammad, a veteran leader of the communist movement of South Asa ia and founder of the Peasants movement in Pakistan.

We pay our glowing tributes to comrade Fateh Mohammad’s lifelong struggle for the cause of peasants, workers and deprived sections of society. Comrade Surjeet struggled all his life for the emancipation of the downtrodden sections of society. The Marxist views and rational voice of Comrade Fateh Mohammad was a source of encouragement to all those who dreamt of a progressive, modern and egalitarian society in all parts of the world.

Comrade Fateh Mohammad passed through the vicissitudes of life and faced poverty and imprisonment but never gave up his ideals and remained intellectually active till the last. He remained committed to his political beliefs till the end and died as a dedicated Marxist. He earned a name and respect of workers, peasants and enlightened population of the world.

SAPF UK are proud of its long-standing links with Comrade Chaudhary Fateh Mohammad and his party. We are aware of the importance of the organizational work of Comrade Chaudhary Fateh Mohammad at every stage and his unremitting commitment to the objective of socialism. 

His unwavering lead as a communist despite imprisonment and legal attack is an example to communists everywhere.

We pay respectful homage to his memory and convey our heartfelt condolences to his sons, daughters, grandchildren and other family members.
